Game Strategy
To truly dominate the table, players must understand the complex ecosystem of Totem and adopt strategies that take advantage of it.
A core mechanic in Totem is the card order: a hierarchy of the animal powers. Cards are all played at the same time, but their abilities are confined to their place in this natural order.
As players announce their cards in this order, those towards the end may seize an opportunity to deceive.
Our Kickstarter journey
We approached Kickstarter with the goal of producing a first-edition limited print of Totem. We wanted to stagger the availability so that we can manage demand and not overload ourselves with more orders than we can handle.
We set ourselves an achievable funding goal and we aren’t making any big promises we’re just wanting everyone to be love our game.

Meet the Creators…
We’re Oakfire Games and Totem is our first attempt at taking things that we love about our hobby and fleshing it out in our own unique way.
There’s Duncan, who came up with the mechanics of the game, the design and concept, and there’s Sion, who made the whole thing come to life with his incredible artwork.
Creating Totem is an incredibly exciting adventure for us and we are truly grateful for your support.
