In deep dark we live. It cold, it damp, but home to fancy emerald, yummy worms, and other lovely shiny bits. Big Boss say first goblin who collect set of shiny bits is BEST goblin. All goblin want help Big Boss.
Me know goblin secret though. Best goblin always get what Big Boss want, because best goblin always cheat!
Goblin Teeth is a dice game for all ages – use your dice to claim treasures, play cheat cards to gain advantages over the other goblins, and win by being the first to collect all the best shiny bits!

Fighting Tooth & Nail…
Jellybean set themselves a high bar with every new game, as release after release we’re introduced to glorious artwork with original and highly fun game play.
This time around it looks like there’s gremlins in the works – or rather goblins – as the level of fun takes a giant leap with their latest Kickstarter, the highly entertaining Goblin’s Teeth.
From the off these disgusting impish creatures have taken over the show and if like us you are a fan of Terry Pratchett’s Discworld, you can see great fun’s been had with the rulebook’s Goblin Writers!
The game itself is a card & dice affair with each goblin out to win the praise of Big Boss – their Goblin Chief. This is done by providing offerings upon the altar in a bid to collect a specific combination of items…
But that’s not going to be as simple as you think because these little green hellions aren’t deterred from a little cheating and in a game where cheating is literally in their rulebook – we’re going to have a tough but very fun time ahead!
How to play…
For each round you first roll your dice to generate your bids and add new cards to the display.
On your turn you will play cheat cards and then one of your dice, which are played in one of two ways:
- On an item card. The player with the highest total on each item at the end of the round will claim it
- To the Altar, which allows you to draw a cheat card
There are two rules for playing dice onto items:
1) You can’t play a die if your total on that item would be more than 10 (goblins can’t count that high!)
2) You can’t play a die if it would cause a tie on that card (goblins are bad at sharing!)
At the end of the round, everyone will collect their items and a new round begins!
As soon as a player has everything needed to make an offering that the Big Boss will like, they win – proving themselves to be the bestest, cleverest, cheatiest goblin of them all!
Final thoughts…
Jellybeans games are always a spectacle to behold and the artwork alone makes this a great game; but with the theme that runs through it of Goblins stealing and creating hi-jinx it’s a game that offers story and substance and we love it.
This is a prototype game and therefore subject to change but we had a great time with the print & play edition and you can too – Jellybean have been generous enough to let everyone try the game for free.
